Sorrento | A Merry Script

Say hello to the newest addition to the collection - Sorrento!

Sorrento was designed on my iPad Pro while listening to the band Hammock. It was an experiment of sorts, to see if I could make a font look the way the song sounded. I ended up having a lot of fun with it and got a really pretty result!

It has 106 ligatures, which are basically letter combinations that look more naturally-written (for example “at” has a line going from the bottom of the “a” to the top of the “t”). There are also alternates for each letter in the font, so it’s kind of like getting two different fonts! This way, anything you type looks totally unique and custom, since you can switch out any duplicated letters with alternates or rely on the ligatures.

Check out some samples below of things you can make using Sorrento, and take a look at even more samples on the Sorrento product page here!

And, as always, All Access Pass members get Sorrento and every other font, old and new, for free!
